Going to Columbus
Major League Gaming (MLG from here on) is having its Columbus, Ohio competition next month. I will be attending as Coach for my friends’ team Defining Moment. I have to say it is pretty exciting to get to go to one of these tournaments. I have been to local tournaments before but from what I understand this is HUGE. Matt purchased the ticket the 6th I believe. They went on sale at 7pm and sold out at like 7:20, if that gives you any idea how big this thing is.
It’s more than just a tournament though, its pretty much the five of us going and having our last real hang out before we go our separate ways. I plan on leaving to go to Alabama that following Monday. So this tournament is going to be the craziest three days of my life because I believe I will be busy the entire time.
School is almost out, which I have been ready for, for about 2 years now. We have 11 days left (not counting weekends) which surprisingly is not that much time. Sadly my teachers have seen it fit to give me as many huge assignments they can to make these last 11 days of school the most stressful moments I have ever had in my life. I’m looking forward to not having to sit in a desk for 6 hours straight. One of my final projects for Entrepreneurship was a Halo tournament I was going to host here at Lakeview High School. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but an unfortunate series of events has made it to where my teacher suggest I cancel it and do a paper instead for the credit. Which reminds me I need to contact the school and have them announce that.
